There is a saying in Bali -- "We have no art; we do everything as well as we can." One could do worse in picking a motto for one's life -- or for one's community. Let's do everything as well as we can, and our lives will be permeated with art. Better yet, we are likely to end up being fairly good human beings. Not a bad bargain.
