A Tribute to Leonardo da Vinci
This art form is titled "Renaissance Time Capsule", an imaginative way of transporting you, the viewer, back through time to a legendary era of creative rebirth. The Artist's method is to fantasize living in the 15th Century as Leonardo da Vinci's pupil, designing with that era's technology in mind and striving to satisfy the master's critical eye. The mirror-image writing and drawing style are fashioned after da Vinci and are dedicated in tribute to him posthumously, as a great mentor deceased. The copy, drawings and ideas are original concepts by Arlie Marshall created in this "Time Capsule" manner as an ultimate challenge for the artist's technical discipline and creative imagination.
Arlie Marshall died in Eureka, California, on October 2, 1998.
